April 2017 Digital Citizenship Event

Mississinewa's final event for Digital Citizenship for the school year will be April 17-21, 2017. Students will learn concepts on Privacy, Cyberbullying, and Copyright information. Multi-media resources have once again been placed to the left in our sidebar for easy access. The MCSC Technology team is excited to share all new resources and opportunities for this event. February 2017 Digital Citizenship Event

February 13-16 is the third event for Digital Citizenship education this school year. Mississinewa students and staff will continue to build on the concepts from the November event a 2016 IDOE Digital Citizenship Week. This event will include activities and discussions on "A-B-C Searching", "Private & Personal Information", "Strategic Searching", and "Oops! I Broadcast it on the Internet" (oversharing). November 2016 Digital Citizenship Day

Mississinewa Schools and the MCSC Technology Department will host Digitial Citizenship Day on November 18. Students and teachers can participate in activities the enitre week. The topics will include "Going Places Safely Online", the "Rings of Responsibility, and "Digital Life." Teachers can access all the resources they need under "Teacher Resources" to the left. Parents and community members can also browse important information regarding these topics.

The 2016 Indiana Digital Citizenship Week presented by the Indiana Department of Education and Common Sense Media was held September 12-16.
